Professor at Department of Physics of Materials, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague up to 2021, now COMTES FHT a.s, Czech Republic. Her research activity is devoted to the complex investigation of the mechanical and physical properties of hexagonal metals, alloys and composites. She is the author and co-author of about 500 scientific papers (among them in the last 5 years 40), mostly in international journals, author, and co-author of 10 chapters in books.
